Subscriptions
Premium vs Basic
The main differences are outlined in the comparison chart on the JOIN page, but, essentially, the Basic subscription is billed monthly. All videos are in 1080P HD– no 4K and no HDR. In addition, members of the Basic plan enjoy a 10% discount on all rentals, purchases, and downloads. The Premium subscription is billed every three months. Members have access to all of our content in 4K and HDR as well as access to SDR, HD, and SD content. Members of the Premium subscription enjoy a 30% discount on all purchases and downloads.
ScottynBrock.com vs OnlyFans, JFF, Fansly, etc.
ScottynBrock.com is able to provide you with access to all of our latest vids in the highest possbile quality. Our other fan sites do not support videos in HDR and perform various transcoding operations on our content that take quality out of our control. On ScottynBrock.com we ensure that you will see our movies as we intended them to be seen. However, ScottynBrock.com is not for certain types of users. If you have limited data on your internet plan, if you have low internet bandwidth or slow speeds, you’ll probably want to stick with our fan sites. ScottynBrock.com is very bandwidth intensive. We have made no compromises on the quality of our videos on this site. Accordingly, ScottynBrock.com uses a lot of data and is really for users who want the best quality of our videos and to know that all of their money is going directly to support ScottynBrock.
Renting, Purchasing, and Downloading with a Subscription
Even if you have a subscription, you may still wish to rent, purchase, or download a movie. If, for example, you have a Basic subscription, you may want to rent a particular movie so that you can see it in 4K or HDR. Since members of the Premium plan already have access to all versions of our movies, there is no reason to offer rentals to Premium subscribers. However, even if you have a Premium subscription, you may wish to buy a downloadable copy so that you can watch it when you don’t have internet service or just to put into your private library. Subscribers are given an automatic discount on all rentals, purchases, and downloads that is applied during checkout. The Premium plan offers a 30% discount while the Basic plan offers a 10% discount.
Renting, Purchasing, Downloading
Renting
When you click the RENT button below a movie, this feature allows you to view all versions of a movie, 4K and HDR, as many times as you’d like for 24 hours. Once you complete your purchase, you will be redirected to the movie you’ve rented. While you don’t have to subscribe to rent a movie, an account will be created for you during checkout. You’ll need to use the created account to make any purchase in the future.
Purchasing
Clicking the BUY button below a movie will give you permanent access to the chosen movie in all forms, including 4K and HDR. You can view the movie as often as you’d like so long as you have an internet connection. If you purchase a movie, you’ll have access to it whether or not you have an active subscription.
Downloading
The DOWNLOAD button allows you to purchase and download the movie of your choice. In addition, you’ll also have full access to the movie on the site. The download option gives you the ability to download both the SDR and HDR versions of the movie. All downloads are 4K movies. You can download the movie whenever you’d like whether or not you’re an active subscriber
Viewing
HD, 4K, HDR, SDR
If you’ve purchased or rented a movie, or if you’re a premium subscriber, you’ll notice an array of buttons directly below the video player. Each button will give you access to any of that video’s versions that exist. With all HDR movies, you’ll have the option of viewing both the HDR and SDR versions of that movie You’ll also be able to view that movie in 4K and HD, in both the SDR and HDR versions. Other movies that we produced in SDR will only have the SDR version available, in both HD and 4K.
HDR vs SDR
HDR stands for High Dynamic Range. It allows for wider range of highlights and shadows in a picture producing a more vibrant and lifelike image. In order to watch the HDR versions of our movies, you’ll have to be viewing on an HDR capable screen. Most modern phones support HDR, as well as many televisions, and computer monitors. If you begin playing an HDR movie, many devices will sense this and react to present the movie accordingly. However, some devices may require you to first switch them into HDR mode rather than auto sensing the content. If an HDR movie looks flat, desaturated, and washed out, either your device is not responding correctly in its auto sensing functionality or is otherwise not set for HDR mode, or you’re attempting to watch the HDR version on an SDR screen. If you’re viewing on an HDR screen, you may try exiting the browser altogether and running it again and then navigate back to the website. Turning your screen on and off may also help. You can also attempt refreshing the page.
Dynamic Bandwidth
All of our movies are presented in a video player that attempts to auto sense the appropriate resolution for your connection’s bandwidth. Each movie is available in SD, HD, and 4K resolutions. The player that appears when first navigating to a movie’s page will provide this functionality. If you wish to select a particular resolution, you may do so either in the video player or using the buttons underneath the video player. The only method of viewing the SD version is by selecting it in the default video player. Once you’ve selected another HD or 4K resolution, you’ll need to refresh the page in order to return to the default player. Dynamic Bandwidth is available only to Premium subscribers or those who have rented, purchased, or downloaded a movie.
Network Errors and Video Not Properly Encoded
If you run into one of these errors, it’s likely a temporary issue that can usually be remedied by refreshing the page. We’re unable to test the site with every possible device, but we’re confident that most modern devices can support the requirements of the site. Your device must support the AVC (h.264) video codec in order to view movies on this site. If you’re still unable to view a movie or continually encounter these errors, please contact our support team to resolve this issue for you.
Issues with specific browsers or devices
Unsurprisingly, each browser, platform, and device has its own quirks when it comes to videos. We’ve striven to make our site compatible with as many different configurations as possible, but we’re unable to test each one individually. We’re aware of a few issues that are beyond our ability to resolve. For example, we’re aware that the Firefox browser on Mac computers has issues playing HDR movies. You’ll need to use either Safari or Chrome in this circumstance. Firefox on iPhone, however, will play them without issue. You can always attempt using a different browser or different device if you experience such problems. If the issue persists, please inform our support staff via email at support at scottynbrock dot com.
Previews and Trailers
For movies that are available in HDR, the free trailers for those movies are in HDR. If the movie trailer for an HDR feature appears washed out and desaturated, it’s likely because you’re viewing it on an SDR device or HDR is not properly activated on your screen.
Billing and Payments
Payment Methods
We are currently able to accept Credit and Debit cards via Stripe and PayPal. We also accept PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Apple Pay and Google Pay are available only on specific devices. The appropriate button will appear on the checkout page if that option is available for your device.
Refunds
In order to combat fraud we are unfortunately unable to offer refunds once an item’s payment status is complete. This includes subscriptions, rentals, purchases, and downloads. However, should you have an issue with any purchase or your subscription, please send our support team an email and make sure you take a look over our entire FAQ. We will work diligently to resolve whatever your issue may be.
Data Security
We take data security seriously. We don’t store any of your payment information on our servers. In fact, we never even see it. It goes directly from your device to our payment processors who all use industry standard security practices– that’s their business. You can rest assured that none of your payment data will be compromised by virtue of using ScottynBrock.com.
